With
2007 now at a close we can certainly say that it was a year of change
for us. Since selling our Dall Sheep outfitting business in the NWT ten
years ago we have been leasing a stone sheep area in the N.E. part of
British Columbia: namely the Besa River area. It has been great little
area and we have really enjoyed our time there. But a couple of years
ago we realized that change was in the wind so we began to explore other
outfitting opportunities. With our son Blake growing up in the
outfitting business now deciding that was what he wanted to pursue as
his career, we knew it was time to commit for the long haul. After much
research and looking we believe we have found a superior area with the
most potential. We are very excited to announce that we were able to put
a deal together to purchase the Golden Bear Outfitting area at Telegraph
Creek, in the NW section of British Columbia. It may well be the oldest
guide area in B.C., established in 1874. It is a vast area encompassing
8-9000 sq. miles, roughly 5 million acres of some of the most pristine,
untouched wilderness anywhere in the world today. Being a coastal area
there are many majestic mountains, glaciers and salmon bearing rivers
and lakes. The area is known around the world for producing exceptional
trophy quality Stone sheep, mountain goats, moose, caribou, grizzly and
black bear. There is also phenomenal fishing through out. In recent
years this area has seen very little hunting pressure. In fact, I
believe it would be safe to say that at least 75% has not been hunted in
decades.
We are very excited about our new area
with all the great possibilities that it holds. If you would like to see
exceptional trophy class animals, breath taking scenery and experience
one of the last true wilderness areas we invite you come and visit us.
It is truly God’s country and we look forward to sharing it with you.
God Bless.

Good Hunting,
Greg, Fay & Blake Williams
